Outdoor Hinsdale is a
collaborative effort between Hinsdale, NH and the National Park Service to promote the town’s natural, outdoor
recreation areas. Trips were planned for all ability levels
and will take place on
September 18th, 19th & 20th.
Choose from a range of hiking trips from an all-day trip for adventurous hikers to hour-long trips for families with young children and people with limited mobility and everything in between. You can even choose an evening hike if you wish.
Explore the waterways along the Connecticut river and its tributaries.
View native wildlife from beavers and muskrats to ospreys and eagles.
Travel down the wooded paths of Hinsdale that were once home to an extensive railway system.
The Hinsdale Historical Society will be putting together box lunches for our participants. The cost is $10 each and will consist of bottled water, a wrap (turkey or veggie) and a snack, packed up in an insulated lunch bag.
Your pre-ordered lunch will be delivered to your trip’s departure point before the excursion starts.
Lunches must be pre-ordered. Please do so when you register for you trip
