3 Days Of Trips
Outdoor Hinsdale is a
collaborative effort between Hinsdale, NH and the National Park Service to promote the town’s natural, outdoor
recreation areas. Trips were planned for all ability levels. The 2022 season will take place on September 16th, 17th & 18th.
Explore the waterways along the Connecticut river and its tributaries.
View native wildlife from beavers and muskrats to ospreys and eagles.
Travel down the wooded paths of Hinsdale that were once home to an extensive railway system.
Hiking boots are strongly recommended; next best is some type of sturdy footwear.
Required: PFD (life preserver); canoe/kayak; paddle. YOU WILL NEED YOUR OWN EQUIPMENT for the Liscomb Hollow trips. We suggest waterproof bag(s) for gear.
Recommended for All:
Dress appropriately for changing weather; identification; hat; sunglasses; sun screen/block; bug spray/repellent;
lots of water/Gatorade; snacks/lunch; small first aid kit; binoculars: phone or camera; backpack.
